Discover the healing power of art and mindfulness in this 6-week online course. Each week, you’ll learn new art techniques, combined with wellness practices, to foster creativity, self-compassion, and emotional well-being. Open to all skill levels!

Week 1: Introduction to Art & Wellness
January 14 - 10am mountain time - Discover how art can be a pathway to mindfulness.
In this session, we’ll explore simple mandala-making as a meditative practice, focusing on how creativity can help quiet the mind and reduce stress. -
Week 2: Nature as Inspiration & Grounding
January 21st - 10am mountain time -Connect with nature to spark creativity.
We’ll draw inspiration from natural elements, creating part 1 of an abstract acrylic paintings that reflect the calming influence of the environment around us. You’ll learn techniques for staying grounded and centered, and how these practices can bring balance and calm into your life. -
Week 3: Letting Go of Expectations
January 28 - 10am mountain time -Embrace the process, not perfection.
This week is all about freeing yourself from the need for “perfect” results. We’ll keep working on our abstract painting and focus on the joy of creating without judgment. -
Week 4: Healing Through Art
February 4 - 10am mountain time -Use art to process emotions and find balance.
Dive deeper into emotional expression through art. We’ll explore how to use colors, shapes, and textures to channel feelings and promote emotional healing. -
Week 5: Self-Compassion Through Art
February 11- 10am mountain time -Practice self-kindness through creative exercises.
In this session, we’ll focus on using art as a tool for self-compassion. You’ll create artwork that celebrates who you are, reinforcing self-love and acceptance. -
Week 6: Gratitude & Integration
February 18 - 10am mountain time -Reflect on your journey and create a final piece or finish one from the precedent week. We’ll wrap up the course by integrating what you’ve learned, creating a final artwork that expresses gratitude for your personal growth, while celebrating your creative journey.
